I guess I should mention that Matt had a birthday in April too. We celebrated a few days late because he was just back from a conference in San Diego and we all needed a little time to recover. The girls wanted to buy him a watch for his birthday. I got to pick it out. I got him new guitar strings. That has been great because he plays a lot more now and we all enjoy it.Matt is super busy at school right now. He just set a date for July 1st to defend his dissertation. That means he has to put in a few more nights and weekends right now, but it will be so great to have it finished before we move. He is still serving as Elders Quorum President and that keeps him busy too. Besides all that, he still manages to help me have the cleanest kitchen floor in all of Columbia and has been busy teaching Mariah and Ruth the tricks of the trade. He also has completed a list of 101 household projects and comes up with a new one every so often. We are all anxious to see what Iowa has in store for us, especially Matt. When he interviewed there he loved it and the people. Now we get to see what it is really like...
