One giant step closer!

Today Matt finished the last portion of his "comps" by completing the oral defense. After a long question/answer session (with the board getting to do all of the questioning) and three minutes of deliberation - He passed! He took his written exams last month. Now it is on to starting his dissertation. We are so proud of him. To celebrate I made a carrot cake but he really deserves so much more.
Here is Matt when he graduated from BYU with his Masters. With luck and a lot of hard work, we should be taking pictures again next year! Yea!

Why my Back Hurts!

We enjoyed the nice weather this weekend by going to Rocheport and walking the MKT Trail by the Missouri River. It was a great time. The girls had a lot of fun, but somehow I managed to carry them all - if only for a short ride.
