What we've been up to

Alright, after my last post you might have been able to tell that Matt's birthday started out a little rough. However, I would like to update that it turned out to be a great day. The cake survived (we just didn't eat the edges and saved ourselves hundreds of calories). The girls made birthday signs, Ruth bought flowers for her dad (his first flowers ever) and we had pizza for dinner- Matt's favorite. Plus, his cake was chocolate with chocolate frosting and army men. What more could a guy ask for?A week ago Saturday we went to the Temple. It was a gorgeous day with all the flowers blooming. Notice that Mariah lost another tooth on the top. She insists on sticking her tongue out "the door" in nearly every picture. I hope that ends soon.;)On Tuesday we put in our garden. Thanks Tammy for "inspiring" us to get it tilled and ready. The ground was muddy, but Matt managed to push it around enough to make room for our plants. Lindsay loves the dirt! Finally, last night we took the girls to see a show at the University, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy. It was amazing. Mariah is considering becoming an acrobat, but isn't ready to commit yet. We went out to Culver's after for ice cream and french fries. Yummy!

I can't wait to see the results of your garden. We may have to do some swapping as the rain wiped out part of ours! Our peas are still going strong though! Good luck. Oh, and Mariah and Morgan will have to put on a show together, our girls are always stacking chairs and then posing on them....thanks to Chinese Acrobats!!
