Miracles never cease! I thought I was crazy for doing another session of swimming with Mariah, but decided to push ahead because she was making progress. I'm so glad we did it. In level one she had to be coerced into putting her head under the water. On the first day of level 2 she was under the water at least 30 times! It really is a miracle and worth the additional 8 days on the side of the pool with Ruth and Lindsay in tow. However, not worth a third session (Ruth hit her limit three days ago). Mariah loves swimming now and passed level 2. Kristen was a great teacher for Mariah and on the last day of class Mariah woke me up early in the morning to work on a Thank You card for her teacher.

so far this summer, stella is pretty sure that she is going to drown in the pool--even though she can actually touch and walk (if she would) hopefully it will get better
