Another Trip to Nauvoo....
Taking advantage of a seminary training meeting Matt had, we went to Nauvoo for a couple of days. We got there on Friday and went to the temple and saw a few shows. Then on Saturday, while Matt had an all day meeting, the girls and I had a great day playing. We went to pioneer past times where the girls had fun dressing up.
I even had a good time playing dress up with Cora. We did several outfit changes - it was like playing dress up with a doll.
We saw a few more shows and marched with the band. I love having Nauvoo as our temple and I know my girls love going there.
Other things.....
We spent our summer basically doing one of two things, swimming or bike riding. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of us at the pool. We went there two or three times every week all summer long. My girls loved it and they all got a lot better at swimming. Lindsay is part fish - I'm sure of it. She spent more time under the water than out of it.
Ruth taught herself to ride a bike at the beginning of summer. She went in the front yard and then came in and told us she could ride a bike - and she could. It has opened her world and whenever she has a spare moment she needs to be riding her bike. Linday (even with training wheels) is what we like to call "heck on wheels."
