June 2010 Happenings

My camera was lost for about two weeks. That's why this post is so slow in coming. I was just starting to panic that it might never turn up, when yesterday I was packing things from under my bed and stumbled upon it. This happens to be one of Lindsay's favorite hiding places, so I shouldn't be surprised. Anyway, June came and went so fast. Besides finding out that we were having a girl, we....

Took our first trip to Cedar Falls, IA. No luck finding a house, but we had a good time. The big excitement came when I got pulled over for the first time in my life. I knew that I wasn't speeding, but it was still an awful feeling. Apparently we need to put the license plate on the front of our car - it's the law. Glad to know now that we are moving in a month and have had it that way for the last four years!

Swimming lessons - again.

My brother, Jeff, his wife, Heather-Ann, and their son, Cameron, came for a visit from CA. It was fun to see them. Especially Cameron - He is one cute boy! We walked the campus, ate at Shakespeare's Pizza, played in the water at a park and made homemade ice cream. We also taught them how to play Ticket to Ride.
