Lindsay Bug turns Two!!!

Well we've finally arrived at the terrible two's. I figure we can only get better from here. Matt reminded me this morning that it now seems almost impossible that just a few months ago we called her Lindsay the destroyer. Now when she finds a pen she does not instantly go to some corner to see what beautiful design she can make on the wall. Nor does she take everything off of every shelf, out of every dresser drawer and all the toy bins, just to start her day. Last week Lindsay learned to climb out of her crib, and stopped taking naps (You can imagine how thrilled I am.) I do have hope that she can be reformed.
I don't want to sound like Lindsay and all her hard work are not appreciated. She is so much fun! No one laughs and plays as much as she does. She loves to have attention and will do just about anything to get it. She and Ruth play together very well. Lindsay loves a good tea party and playing dress up. She also likes to have Mariah read to her and loves to play chase with her. And finally, after months of calling Daddy Mommy(because she thought it was funny)she now calls him DADA.
We love this little girl and cannot imagine life without her.
Of course we had to have a lady bug themed party for her because we have always called her Lindsay-bug. We decorated the house all in black and red and she was so excited to wake up and know that it was all for her. She has been looking forward to her cake for months and was well practiced at blowing out candles. (mostly because every time we mentioned birthday cake she pretended to blow out candles.) For some reason she cried the whole time we sang happy birthday to her, but seemed happy enough when she finally got a cupcake of her own.
