Last night before bed Mariah and Ruth devised a trap to catch a Leprechaun. Here is how it works. They made a Leprechaun tent by placing two pillows together. Inside they put crayons and paper. The girls would hear a Leprechaun coloring in the middle of the night and jump out of bed and catch it. Just so the Leprechaun would know it was invited Mariah made a sign that says, Leperken Tent and Colring. They could hardly go to sleep last night they were so excited. However, they never heard the Leprechaun and slept the whole night through. This morning they found a drawing left by the leprechaun (who could use a few lessons.)
This was all Mariah's idea. Mariah's Kindergarten teacher last year really played up the leprechaun thing and some even visited them during the day at school. That is the only place I can think of her learning about leprechauns.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! We hope you have better luck catching Leprechauns at your house!

Hilarious!
I totally blame the girls school. Hailey is totally obsessed. It is over the top. Hailey set 3 traps, but got a similar note. She was so excited to take it to school and show her teacher!
