Memorial Day Weekend

On Saturday we headed to the airshow here in town. Last year it was rained out when we tried to go. This year we never got the memo saying no planes would be flying during the two hours we were there (we did see a few dogs demonstrate how to attack people - Ruthie is scarred for life). It was a HOT day. Hopefully next year we can time it just right.

On Monday we headed to the Parade in downtown. I love taking the girls to help them remember and celebrate those who fought or are fighting for our freedom. I can't help but think about my grandpa and all his stories he shared about WWII and of my brother who is serving now.
