Good ol' Nelly

Matt does so much for our family... and also for our car. Here is a picture of the engine to our "hot rod," "Nelly," or on a good day "The Beast." Who needs a dog when they have a car with so much personality? Anyway, Nelly was having a hard time the past few months. We thought about having to put her down, but she has always been a part of our family (Matt bought her right before we got married). So last week we took her into the mechanic and the bill was pretty outrageous. Matt took it upon himself to save her and us. After a couple of days and a lot of sweat equity she has eight new fuel injectors and we have a few extra dollars in our pocket. AND, even better, she is running smooth and quietly like the good ol' days. It is seriously a miracle worked by my husband and his willingness to give it a try. THANKS MATT! (he took the picture of the engine just in case he needed to see what the car looked like when putting it back together)

Whenever Phillip does any kind of project like that he always says "I'm such a man." So great Matt got to prove his manliness. :) And save some money too. That's the best part.
